Privacy policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026. Applies to the tidyclicks.com website and all Tidyclicks browser extensions.
Short version
Tidyclicks extensions do not collect, sell or share your browsing data. What a tool needs to work is stored locally in your browser. If a specific extension ever needs more than that, its store listing and this page say exactly what and why before you install it.
Data stored on your device
Extensions save their settings and any content you create with them using your browser's built-in extension storage. If you have browser sync turned on, your browser may sync these settings between your own devices through your browser provider (e.g. Google). Tidyclicks cannot see this data.
Payments
Paid features are processed by Stripe. Stripe processes your name, email, payment details and country under its own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy). Tidyclicks receives only what is needed to confirm your purchase (such as your email and the product bought) and never sees your full card details.
Website
tidyclicks.com uses no cookies, analytics or trackers. Our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and troubleshooting, which are deleted automatically.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and help you. We don't add you to any list unless you ask.
Uninstall feedback
Some extensions open a short, optional survey when removed. Answering is voluntary and anonymous.
Limited use
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We never use your data for advertising, credit decisions or anything unrelated to the tool's single purpose, and we never transfer it to data brokers.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Since our extensions keep data on your device, removing the extension deletes it. For anything else, email [email protected]. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
